It’s always interesting to try Chinese food in different countries around the world. In the Dominican Republic we had fish chop suey, stewed eggplant, “soup China”, and a side of tostones.
Fermented stinky tofu served with pickled cabbage, fried basil and a soy garlic sauce. Very tasty bit and acquired taste!
Love oolong tea tasting at one of my favorite tea farms.

The Yunnan province offers delectable insects to eat including scorpions, centipedes, beetles, silkworms and more.
Durian sold at a local market in Lijiang. The layered durian cake was absolutely delicious!
The ancient practice of curing meats in China is truly impressive and delicious. Meals are elevated with morsels of cured meats that are rich and full of umami.
The mushroom culture and variety of fungus consumed in Yunnan, China is incredible!

Wonderful handcrafted Japanese meal.
Traditional Chinese breakfast - fresh soy milk, Chinese donut, baked sesame pastries, soup dumplings, scallion buns, etc. A great gastronomic pleasure!
